Little Dix Bay BVI

Has anyone ever been ? We are leaning toward going after our wedding which is in the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon. It has gotten good reviews on trip advisor but I want to hear from "real" people. TIA!

We highly considered going there for our HM. We ultimately went with Anguilla but Little Dix Bay was high on the list.

Anguilla is our other possibility. Where did you stay? How did you like it?

I've been to Anguilla 3 times. We LOVE it there! Stayed at the CuisinArt, Cap Juluca, and Anacaona.

The later is a cheapy option. Nice, but not a honeymoon type of place.

CuisinArt has the best rooms of the three. Beautiful, renovated, just really really plush. The beach is nice but can be windy depending on the time of year.

Cap Juluca has the best beach but the rooms are in desperate need of renovations. I'd only choose this hotel if you go for the most expensive room categories but be warned, the rooms are still not great. But you can not beat that beach. Truly amazing!

Food in both hotels is OK...Cap Juluca's is slightly better. There are so many great restaurants on the island it's better to go out anyway.

People seem to really love The Viceroy. It's a huge hotel. Very Miami in feel. We walked around, had some dinner. It was fine. Not our style. We like smaller resorts but people seem to REALLY love it. So I'd say it's worth looking into. They don't have the best beach front though.

Hope this helps! Feel free to FM me with any questions. Congrats on your upcoming weddingChat Icon

We went to Caneel Bay in St. John which is the sister property to Little Dix (Both owned by Rosewood). Hands down the best beach vacation I've ever had. They are a five star resort for a reason!

Haven't been to Little Dix Bay, but we were considering either there or Caneel Bay. They both look absolutely AMAZING!!!

Good Luck with your decision! Chat Icon

OH!!! Anguilla!! Oh how we loved!! it was certainly an amazing trip, beautiful hotel, AMAZING AMAZING beaches.

We stayed at Cuisinart Resort. It was 1000% perfect. Everything about it was great. We stayed in a junior suite, our room was huge, IMMACULATE and was right over the beach.

We visited Cap Juluca for dinner one night and had an amazing meal there, I forget the name of the place we ate in. But we basically sat on the beach at night.

Oh such great memories!!! I hope you pick Anguilla!!!

So funny we looked at that resort as well. And Peter Island Resort was also high on our list.

Re: Little Dix Bay BVI

Thanks for all the help everyone!!
I think we are going to do Little Dix Bay. Ive had some friends get back to me who raved about it and it gets amazing reviews on trip advisor. Anguilla is definitely on our must-do list though. We were thinking about the Viceroy there but the size sort of turned me off a bit as I want a more intimate honeymoon (we will be coming from an all-inclusive in DR). We considered the Cuisinart too, but I have a feeling the website does not do it justice at all. It gets good reviews but the website did not make us excited at all so it was hard to go for it. Cap Jaluca is getting renovated, I think, which it needs based on all the reviews I read so we had already ruled it out. Maybe Cuisinart will be a first anniversary trip?????

I agree the CuisinArt websites sucks monkey balls. Tripadvisor travelers have better photos then they do. I think a first anniversary trip would be perfect AND if you plan on bringing your daughter the resort is somewhat child friendly. Happy planning! Chat Icon
