GD weight loss ?
I've been on the GD plan for 1 1/2 weeks now....and am 29 weeks...
At 20 weeks I was up 5 lbs.
At 27 weeks I was up 10 lbs.....
At 29 weeks I am only up 5 lbs( lost 5 lbs).
Baby is kicking, stomach is still huge.... I weighed alot before I got pregnant
Who else lost weight with GD? Will it level off? I have a drs appt on Tuesday anyways, but curious.

I've lost 2 (3 weeks ago) and haven't gained anything since.
I'm sure you'll start gaining again!

I lost a about 10lbs around the same time when I had GD with DS. Then I regained it before he was born.

I didn't lose, but I didn't gain any in the 3rd trimester. Doc didn't seem concerned at all.

i didnt lose any but i didnt gain much more past the point of diagnosis of GD.

I think I was a little worried, cause I didn't gain much this pregnancy to begin with - with my son I had a 65lb pregnancy, so losing 5 lbs wouldn't have worried me.

I lost weight. They actually wanted me to incraese my protein portion to stop from losing any more.

GD weight loss ?
I just kept on gaining at the same rate, it was quite annoying. I will say that with what they told me to eat I was actually eating more than I had been prior to diagnosis. I think it just evened out because I was eating healthier.

i didn't lose with DD#1---Because I was diagnosed late at 34 weeks, but i hardly gained anything towards the end.

CallalLily - I am definitely eating protein... the salads are full of chicken, the oatmeal I got is one with extra protein & a spoon of peanut butter.

I lost weight too. I forget how much but Im only up about 17lbs and I have 7 days to go. Even though it sucks to have GD I kinda thought of it as a jump start to my weight loss for after the baby is born. The doctor wasn't concerned with my loosing weight so long as the baby was gaining, which he is
