For girls who had sonos at 6 weeks
Did you just see the gestational sac and no yolk sac or fetal pole? I am so nervous! I am exactly 6 weeks today. Just wanted to know if this was typical.

My first sono was at 5w5d and all we saw was a gestational sac and a yolk sac. I had a second sono at 6w5d and there was a heartbeat! hth! Good luck!

i had a sono at 6 weeks exactly and he barely saw anything,except the sac and when he pressed down super hard we saw the tiniest flicker of a hb
it can go either way,do not worry if u do not hear it yet...from 6 to 7 weeks is a huge diff
at 7 weeks not only did we hear and see one strong heartbeat,his ir her brother was there too with a nice strong heartbeat as well

same here...my first sono was a little over 6 weeks and saw the yolk sac, heartbeat and the a very small line it looked like which was the fetus starting to develop.

With my DD at 5w5d all we saw was a sac, at 6w5d we saw the HB, and at 7w5d we heard the HB.
This pregancy, I initially was measuring behind a few days so at what was measured to be 5w2d all we saw was the sac, nothing else. The following week the baby caught up a lot and I was only measuring behind by like 2 days so at was measured to be 6w5d we saw the baby and a nice, strong HB of 143bpm. We go back for another sono on Friday. 
Good luck!!!! 6 weeks is early so don't be alarmed if you don't see much yet.

My first sono was 4w6d, we just saw a sac. The next week (6 weeks) we saw a sac and fetal pole. We didn't see a heartbeat until 7 weeks.

At 6w2d we saw 2 hb, yolk, pole, etc. But they told us that if we didn't see a hb not to worry because it was still early.

4w2d - nothing, dr just checked uterine lining, nothing else to see at all
5w2d- yolk sac and a possible grain of rice looking thing, only the dr really saw that and she thought she possibly saw 2!
6w2d - yolk sac and a little tiny bean thing right next to it that was the baby. Confirmed, only one baby!
8w2d - it actually looked like it was shaping to a baby! you could see the shape of a head and then a body that looked like little hands and feet were "starting" to poke out!
