Dutch Wonderland - better in August or September?
DH agreed to go.
Which weekend do you think is better?
A. Last weekend of August
B. Mid-September

I would think the weather and crowds would be better in September, but you mind not be able to do the water section.

We went last September and the water section was closed! It was so so hot and we were disappointed.

As long as the water section is open (if you wanted to go to that side) I'd def say September! Less busy and hot usually.

I went last Sept and wasn't at all disappointed we didn't do water rides. Thomas the Train is in town in mid Sept. too.

Sold on Day Out with Thomas!
Do they completely shut down the water section or is it a day by day decision?

We went in August last year and it was fine-but we went during the week. We don't use the water section there so it wouldn't bother me if it's closed.
this year we are going in September b/c of the Thomas thing.
