Insight please - Thank you gift
My friend at work has really gone above and beyond to help me get ready for an upcoming race and I'd like to do something to say thank you. She also helped me out big time at a very big work event so she is extra deserving of something special.
The only thing I can think of that she'd like is $200 and I really don't want to spend that much money. Does anyone have any ideas?
eta: she is a hard core runner. her other (understandable) love is her 1 1/2 year old daughter, but I don't want to get her anything for her kid this time around. she also likes camping.

I just got my friend a really pretty vera bradley tote and she loved it. It cost around $50.

Athleta just opened a store in Manhasset. I love their running/workout/yoga clothes and accessories. Really great quality but a little pricey. I never splure on myself for great running clothes and I would love to get a gift card to go shopping there.

Get her a gift certificate to a specialized running store.
That way she can pick out what SHE wants.
Get the amount you could afford. If your looking for us to help you with a number, I would do, like $50 or $100.

This is what I would do too.
If you don't want to do a GC, then I think something for running would be good.
