MAD MEN!!!
I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!! Just when I thought it couldnt get any better it does.. Don passed the cheating test.. SO FAR!!!!! I dont trust him.. He gave his business card to the girl at that concert.. She will probably show up somewhere..
I felt sorry for pete!! And Don left him hanging in that elevator.. So cold ...

I agree, it's awesome so far!
But I don't feel sorry for Pete at all. He is a child in an adult's body. He's completely emotionally stunted and....warped. He's always walked around with a sense of entitlement and when things don't go his way he stomps off like a baby, and Don's always had his number in that respect.
And while I'm still not convinced Don is an angel, I think he's truly happy, and satisfied with his life now....whether or not he can fend off his inner demons (because they will come back to haunt him, they always do) remains to be seen. I don't think he wants to screw this up though, he knows he has the life he wants now....I think Betty and the burbs was the life he thought he *should* have, but not necessarily where he really wanted to be.

I really liked Mad Men. Peter disgusts me..but I have to hand it to him- he is such an amazing actor, I feel like he is the best actor on the show because he
is so good at creeping me out.
The fighting scene was awkward. I totally knew Lane would kiss Joan. She handled it well, though.
I loved that Don didn’t give in at the prostitute house. What was the deal with Megan forgetting Cynthia’s name at the dinner table?
The part about Ken’s story writing was kind of boring. I feel like they spent too much time on it.
I want more Betty scenes

I know peter is a creep but in some way I feel sorry for his pathetic character..
I think Roger is the best character on the show.. Funny as hell!! Love him so much!! His one liners are hysterical....

I was confused about the comment Don made to the madame - that he "grew up in a place like this" I thought his mom the prostitute died giving birth and gave him to his stepmom and father on a farm. So then didnt he grown up on a farm then and was born in a eeeheem "cathouse"?
Also I noticed that Roger took a buxom redhead to her room in that scene as well lol.
Pete is super akward and I want to hate him but i agree I kind of feel bad for him at the same time.
That highschool girl stuff was freaking me out i could barely watch.
When are we gonna see Betty in her fat suit again?????

I thought the same thing. They showed his mom dying in child birth and then someone dropped him off at his father's house. I also remember him watching his stepmother giving birth to his brother.

when he said he grew up in a place like that I didnt think he meant literally, I think he meant he spent a lot of time in one over the years as he got older and became the man he is now.
and i think they included the part about Ken's writing because it is a way to compare and contrast those three guys - pete wanted to be a writer in the beginning of season one as well, and apparently roger did as well. Ken is the only one who really seems to have it all -- a good relationship with his wife, success at his job, the hobby he enjoys, success in that realm, and he's happy to not go crazy trying to be top dog.
i also agree that the guy who plays pete is an amazing actor and creeps me out too. its interesting to see that he finally has everything he thought he wanted and now he realizes he didnt actually want a lot of it... and the stuff he really wants he doesnt have

All of this. Spot on.
You know what makes Pete even creepier to me now than in past seasons. He's put on *just* a little bit of weight, a little beer gut, face is a little fuller....to me it makes him even more creepy when he's leering at the chick in his drivers ed class.
