if you have an appointment...
with a person who will be coming to your house to do work...and as agreed you call the day before to confirm....and their number is now out of service....
would you assume they are still coming???
someone is supposed to be here at 9 am tomorrow and i have no way of reaching them so i dont know what i should do ...lol

same here.
I'm not sure what kind of work this is but I'd be very hesitant to give money unless I had a better explanation of how I'm supposed to reach him.

same here.

I would too - but I'd be concerned about their reliability & would ask about the phone.

this happened to us once, with a company who was supposed to reglaze our tub about 5 or 6 years ago. we're still waiting...

I would probably assume they were still coming and there was just an issue with their phone. I have called my BFF before and it said her phone wasn't in service but then later or the next day it was fine. And she never had it turned off or anything.

yeah this had also happen with my phone, some times someone call me and tell me that they try calling me before and my phone said it was disconnected
