Swollen ankles at 20 weeks?!?!?!?
DH is working like a lunatic lately because of tax season. So it's just been me and the twins (16 months). I just out them to bed and noticed my ankles are swollen already. Is this normal? with the twins i know they were swollen by this time but i was MUCH bigger. I am laying with my feet elevated right now but i am in a wedding tomorrow and will be on my feet all day. Is it normal for my ankkles to swell this early? What can i do? There is so much to be done around here, i dont want to just lay with my feet up while the kids are in bed. It's my only time to get anything done

hi. crashing to say that my ankles started to swell at 20 weeks and unfortunately stayed that way til i delivered at 38 weeks. the OB said it was normal. as for what to do, i bought those compression stockings and wore them whenever possible. i also tried to elevate my feet and drink lots of water. nothing was a permanent fix, though, except giving birth. hah.
i hope your swelling isnt too bad. enjoy the wedding!

my ankles got bad around 16 weeks bc i stand for work....you should see them now!!! lol

Mine were really swollen all week and I'm only 17 weeks today- yikes. Drink LOTS of water and elevate them... wear comfy shoes tomorrow and try to sit when you can!
