Gymboree Classes?
Was wondering if anyone has any experience with Gymboree's Play and Learn class for 0-6mos?
I have a promotion code which makes it pretty inexpensive, just wanted to know if its worth bringing DD- she is 3 mos old.

I brought my DD, who is a bit older (10 months at the time) and I don't know if it was the location or what, but I wasn't impressed..at that age, I was doing library music classes and she loved it...those are usually free and/or cheap...I decided to save my money for later on...

I did a trial with DS#1 at around 4 months and then did a month groupon with DS#2 at around 4 months as well.
Both boys enjoyed it. I think it is more for parents though. The babies would probably be equally happy if you did something new with them at home.
I did not enroll DS#1 until he was around 8-9 months for music and then gym at around 13 months when he started walking.
I don't feel the need to enroll DS#2 because we are constantly going on playdates. I took him on a trial for music but it didn't impress me the way it did when I took DS#1. I was planning to put him in gymboree when he got a little older but the weather has been so nice. the playground may be sufficient for the time being.

I think it is totally worth it. I took my baby when she was 3 months and she really likes looking around at all the kids and toys they give them to play with. For the 0-6 months you can go as many times a week as you want at all the different locations so it is worth the money. It is great to have something set to do to get out of the house with the baby, They take great naps after the class too :)

We started at 4 months and I think DS loves it. He loves the socialization, the singing, Gymbo the Clown hand puppet, and especially the parachute! I love having our special time together there, and the other mo,s in our group.

Same here....we started at 10 weeks and I still have him enrolled at 14 months. He loves it. I plan to do the same with DS#2. Also, I think they really built his muscles bc he started crawling at 6 months, taking steps at 10 months and flat out walking at 11 months.
However, I do agree with another poster that at 0-6 months it is probably more for the parents. It taught me so many new songs and activities and it helped the day go faster.
