Cleaning strollers

I have a few strollers where the fabric needs to be cleaned but I don't think it comes off, so I can't put them in the washing machine. What's the best way to clean them?

Me and my DS do a "car/stroller wash"

I just pull the stroller onto the lawn, and he goes to town with a sponge, and a soap with the hose. It was like his favorite summer activity!

Now that its cold, I just spot clean it. I havent ever washed in washer

We have the Maclaren (Quest, I think) and Dash. I have been able to remove the seat fabric and wash them in the washing machine at least 3-4 times in the last 2 years. Then I hang it up in our bathroom to air dry. That has worked out well. For parts that I can't remove such as the hood cover, I spot wash like the pp.

HA, same here!

I spray it with some cleaner and do the same.

Re: Cleaning strollers

Call the manufacturer to see if the covers come off. Most do...I usually throw them in the wash and that does the trick. If not I would get Oxyclean, Tide and a bucket and just scrub them outside. For the canopies I pull them off and just throw them in the tub and scrub with some tide and Oxyclean.

Can I borrow it? Oh wait... Chat Icon

I was actually thinking of getting one for our carpets, this would be an awesome second use!
