Small candles, small bottles of lotion, maybe some candy (bags of M&Ms?). I went to one shower that gave out scratch-offs as prizes.

When I threw my cousins baby shower i did pillar candles and wrapped pink ribbon that says "Its a girl" around it from Michaels. They came out really cute

i love the shower gels and poofs. Usually go to B&BW get the sample sized shower gel/wash, lotion and poof. Put it in a cellophane bag with a nice ribbon.
We did them for my bridal shower and my SIL's and they were a big hit.
Other things that have been hits were:
- pocket book umbrella
- scratch offs with hershey's kisses n hugs
- reusable shopping bags.

christmas tree shop has lots of these little things too. picture frames, candles, stationary, etc. good luck!
