When is too late?
When do you think it is too late to send out a birth announcement. Most recipients will know that there was a family tragedy so that's why it is so late.

Never too late considering there were extenuating circumstances, unless the child is off to college

My cousin sent announcements 6.5 months after her daughter was born (her 3rd) and there was no family tragedy. I think you're fine no matter how long it's been.
