What do you think about this - first and middle name question
If we go with Antonia for the middle name in honor of my father that passed away, would it be silly to have a first name that ends in -a?
This is not our name choice, but for example:

I don't see a problem with it. Beyond the first year how often do you use middle names anyway?? I wouldn't let it deter me from using a first name I loved.

Well, I am biased because I love girl's names that end in -a! I say go for it! As long as the two names flow nicely together that is all that matters.

yup! as long as they flow, go for it! there was one boy name we were considering i can't remember what it was but saying it sounded like we were making drumming sounds, lol.

I agree with PP's as long as it doesn't rhyme it is perfectly fine. (i love girl names that end in A though)

My DDs first and middle name both end in an "a". As long as it flows, it's fine.

I think that as long as the first name doesn't also end in -ia it's fine (Natalia Antonia, for example). Laura Antonia sounds fine!

Ah this is a good point!
Laura is not actually on our list, but I was having trouble thinking of any names that ended in -a (which is funny since like the majority of girl names seem to end in a!).
