Half day kindergarten/working parents

Half day kindergarten/working parents
I have like 2 years to worry about this but just curious what others do in this situation. Our district is half day. A morning session and an afternoon session. What do working parents do? Do you send your child to a private school for one year? I'm so confused!!

there are a lot of private schools that have kindergarten. Also, some people pay a nanny/babysitter to watch them the other half a day!

Our school has full day but there are private schools that will have enrichment for the other part of the day...

day care and preschools offer enrichment programs
private schools offer full day
DH WAH, so we were able to have DS come home (my mom took him one day a week too) and play by himself until i came home

When my dd had half day, I got a sitter.
Morning Session-I brought her to the bus stop and then after school the bus took her to the sitter's house.
Afternoon Session-I brought her to the sitter before work, she got on the bus there and then went to after-care after school.
