should i take her to the doctors?
K so dd has had what i think is a bad cold since satruday now. Suday her temp was 100.2 yesterday it was between 101 and 1023 so i switched tylnon/mortin all day. She woke in the middle of the night with 101 but fell back to sleep after a half hour n slept the whole night. She woke this morning looking and acting a million times better but then after her nap she was crying her temp is back at 101 and her nose is soo stuffy n running her eyes are watering like crazy....
So do you think its been long enough and its time to take her to the doc or is it most liky just a head cold n to keep giving her the motrin??

Usually when DD gets a fever with a cold like that it's an ear infection.
I'd take her just to be sure.

I would, because in my experience with DD2, cold+fever=sinus and/or ear infection. Not saying that's what your DD has, but that's my DD's MO.

AS PP's said... Yes, I would b/c most times it's an ear infection. The faster they can get put on meds the faster they'll feel better.

I too would take her to the doctor's. This is based on previous experience. It might also give you comfort if the doctor confirms that there is no infection detected.

yes I would... I did this weekend after weeks of a runny nose ...i took ds to the dr and she confirmed double ear infection.. he was not acting sick, no fever and was eating ok but his eyes were red and puffy and nose was constantly running

thanks ladies, I made a appt for her to be seen today. Her temp is all over the place its so weird. I took it at 8am it was 99.8 then at noon it was 101 then at 1pm it was 100.9 and again just now its 102..
Im so confused hopefully the docter has some answers.

my DD was similar and i took her to ped today and she said upper resp infection. her ears were red, but no infection. she is on antibiotics.

Just got back from the docter and DD has a ear infection in her right ear. I feel horriable that i waited almost 4 days to take her but atleast shes getting the medicine she needs now and will hopefully feel better soon!
