TTC and nervous...2nd baby!

I am turning 30 next week and I have a little girl who just turned 2. I haven't been on this site in a long time and since we are TTC baby #2, I wanted to re-connect.

During my pregnancy I had some blood pressure issues and I am overweight and trying to get pregnant again is really making me nervous. I don't want to be put on bed rest or have any issues. My first pregnancy I felt amazing and everything went almost too well.

Is there anyone that may have the same blood pressure concerns as me. Do you take safe meds while pregnant to keep the blood pressure under control? My doctor seems so not concerned and I am so nervous.

Do you still have BP issues? Some women have pregnancy-induced hypertension or other stuff. But each baby is different, it's so strange how the same woman can have totally different experiences with each kid...

Of course, having extra weight increases your risk... perhaps consider incorporating some exercise and healthier eating while you are ttc (and after?)

i am def no expert but i dont think if u had it with 1 u will def have it with number 2

maybe the parenting or pregnancy board have a better answer
