Riding boots- not snug on calfs
So I am on the search for brown riding boots. bought Frye Jennas from zappos and although they fit, they closed snug on my calf without any pants on, so they wont work over jeans. Does anyone have a suggestion of other Frye boots or a different brand that are not snug on calves? I wouldnt consider myself having wide calves, so I am puzzled...but have to admit I never bought riding boots before....

I have the Frye Veronica Slouch Boots and they're not snug on the calf. I love them!

I have pair of Bandilino riding boots I purchased at Lord & taylor, but Zappos has them now as well.
They seem pretty roomy and I get compliments on them all of the time!

I have the same ones and often have issues with my calf and tall boots ,and these are not snug at all. I think these are dark brown, they look like the color I have.

I saw a lot of great pairs of riding boots at the DSW in Levittown. I know they have even larger selections at the one in Westbury. All different styles and definitely not snug on the calfs. They even had adjustable widths on some styles.
