From your pic it looks like your DH (or you?) is NYPD. I bet you could find some cute NYPD gear, like bibs and onesies, that would be "different" for someone out-of-state.

At 15 weeks, I'd get something for her rather than the baby.
If she doesn't have the latest baby bargain book, that's very helpful when registering.
I also suggest "The Baby Whisperer".Maybe a book for her husband?
Gift certificate to a maternity store?

Maybe a pregnancy massage gift certificate or a mani-pedi gift certificate! I also like the maternity clothes store gift card!

Send a diaper cake! They can be custom made with any colors/themes and can even have shoes, onesies, toys etc attached to it!

this might be a little premature, but i saw it on pinterest
it's a mom t-shirt that says "i make an adorable baby" and there's a matching baby onesie that says "adorable baby"
i saw another one that has a huge mustache on the tummy, to indicate it's a boy
