When was your first appointment?
I called my OBGYN last week after we got the BFP, and they scheduled me for an appointment with my doctor for 8/31 to go over all the do's and don'ts of pregnancy. They told me they would schedule me for the sonogram after I met with the doctor.
The first day of my last period was 7/9, so that would make me, about 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant, is that too soon to hear a heartbeat?

I *saw* the hb at 6 weeks I don't think we heard it until 8 or 9 weeks

My dr's office works a bit different and took me for my first appt when I was just over 5 weeks. Had my first sono when I was 6 weeks and 5 days. We saw that heartbeat at that appt. We didn't hear it until our next appt about 3 weeks or so later.

I went in at 5w to confirm the pregnancy, then saw the heartbeat at 6w. The first official OB appointment is at 8w.

First appt was at 5 week- all we could see was the yolk sac. Went back at 7 weeks and could see the heartbeat.

same here somewhat we go tomorrow to see heartbeat and I will be 7weeks

My first day of my last period was 7/13 and I have an appointment 08/30. They told me they would confirm the pregnancy and do an internal sono, by then we should see the heartbeat, but not hear it just yet.

next wednesday is my first appointment. I will be 7 weeks. I have no idea what to expect but i really hope i get to see/hear something

since its my 2nd, my first apt is at 10 weeks...I hate this waiting game....GRR!!! But, they will do a sono then and fingers crossed, everything is ok.
With my DC #1, we went at 7 weeks and saw & heard the heartbeat..
