You're right, and I almost added to it that I don't think it's Oasis but that I couldn't remember who sang it

Dance With My Father and not that its a sad song, but "My Way" by Frank Sinatra. It was my grandfather's favorite song and I always think of him and get teary whenever I hear it.

That song they played after 911 constantly for the widows and childen....
I dont know the name but it might be "Just think of me" or "I'll be there".... It starts.... Over mountain, over trees... just think of me, I'll be there... Dont be afriad of my love, I'll be watching you from above... I may have died but I've gone nowhere... just think of me, I'll be there...
That song has to be the most depressing song ever!

That song is only sad because Richard Ashcroft never got clearance by the Rolling Stones to use their sample and now he will have to pay the Stones royalties everytime that bloody song is played.
It reminds me of 1998 when I went to the Reading Festival and saw the Verve and called my husband on the mobile phone, which I was holding up so he could hear them playing the song.
Is Wichita Lineman a sad song? It always moves me for some reason, I love that song.
