Went yesterday with a 2 year old...it was okay...they have a few kiddie pools with slides and sprinklers. Depends if your DS likes the water or not...

And yes, there is a Williams Sonoma across the street!

They have a kiddie park area with little pools and slides and a few other splash areas. Some of the rides you can go on with your DC on your lap.

Personally my DD's love water and love it there so we would definitly go.

It was a bust for us. DS got bored of the two areas for kids and he really couldn't do anything else except the wave pool, but Tanger is worth the trip.

I found splish splash very disapoiting. There isnt much for 5 and under kids to do. Also like any other water park the lines are ridiculously long, so my advice is go early... camps roll in around 12 and they literally take over the place.

Jess, C loved it when we went on fathers day! He was 17 months old, he loved the little pools and wave pool. They make them wear a life vest by the wave pool but the kiddie areas are ok without it.

Too expensive for using only the small kiddie section.

It depends on how much he likes water (and getting splashed). While DS is content to sit in a pool (or beach on the sound) he is not into getting splashed and water crashing on him. the water pressure was actually hard on MY headChat Icon

However, there are three pool areas in the kiddie zone and another pool with kiddie water slides. We got there when it first opened and of course DS could go on over and over. When we went back in the afternoon there was a line and DS did not understand the concept of waiting on lineChat Icon

Aside from the sensory overload, overall, DS had a good time (we kept him to the side of the pool areas where he wouldnt get splashed. We were going to attempt the wave pool and lazy river but it was already 2 hours past his nap and he really had had enough (was hoping that he'd sleep in his stroller but that didnt happen).

P.S. I had purchased a season pass in the spring so it wasnt that expensive for us.

oh ok. great.

he actually LOVES the water, especially sprinklers and stuff like that.

I think out of the 2, this will probably be better for him than Great Adventure.

and of course, the outlets nearby help!!! Chat Icon ever since they closed the WS outlet at Woodbury Commons my life has not been the same. Chat Icon
