As for scarves: Check these out...
Cover your hair
Pretty!
Not sure where you live, but any area with a muslim population will have stores with gorgeous scarves. Worth checking out!

I am praying and rooting for you!! Thank you for sharing on Parenting. I haven't gotten a mammo since 2007 (before I had my DDs in 2008 and 2009)- b/c I keep putting it off. Breast cancer runs in my family on both sides so I started getting mammos when I turned 30 after finding a lump that ended up being fatty tissue. I just got off the phone with Nassau Rad and have my appt on 8/30. Thank you for getting my asss in gear. Please keep us posted on your progress!! Kick that cancer's asss!!!

I am so sorry to see this post. I would also be very aggressive (double masectomy)... cancer is scary. Be strong! We are all praying for you!

You are very welcome! I think it's pronounced "tickle". There is a demo at the bottom of the tichel page with how to tie them. Very pretty!

My mom just went through a double mas in Jan..she didnt need Chemo tho..She is doing great and getting her new boobs in Nov..I'm praying for you. If you ever need to vent FM me...you WILL get through this@!!

Sending you lots of prayers and encouragement! My aunt was just diagnosed with breast cancer this week as well. Its such a good reminder to check!
She has a very aggressive form - and the Dr said had she not found the lump when she did, her prognosis had it been 4 months from now would have been very different and most likely dire! She is very young too, only 42.
Good luck on your journey and thank you for the so important reminder to check and to have anything suspicious checked out!
