BEDROOM PAINT HELPPPP
I'm driving myself crazy I can not decide on a paint color for our bedroom and I have to tell the contractor by tomorrow/early thursday. My current front runner was Stonington Gray but I'm affraid it will look very cold. I'm not sure I want to go the Tan route because of the carpet. Help!!!!
Here is the room:
We are leaving the beige carpet and we're getting dark wood furniture. The rooms a little longer then what the picture shows and there's a short hallway with closets leading to the bathroom.
Here's our current bedding. I'm not against replacing it but it is fairly new.

I think Stonigton Gray is fine.
I just googled a pic and this bedroom has dark wood furniture and a beige shag rug - it looks great.
I think with your bedding it would look very calm and serence.

Too funny thats the exact picture I've been carrying around with me into the paint stores. I'm leaning towards it but I think a sample would help.

I find gray tricky because there are so many variations of tones. I'd bring a few paint chips home to see how they look in the room. Then get a few samples to see how the lighting in your room affects it. If I did this I would have saved $100 and an afternoon. Goodluck!!

buy a bunch of samples and paint on your wall. I bought 7 for my livingroom before finding the one i liked.

I have 1 wall in my bedrom a dark blue gray BM nantucket fog then the other three walls are BM hillsbourough beige

Well I got a sample of the stonington gray and really not happy with it. It's a very cement like color. We're using BM smokey taupe for the living room and the bedroom is right off of it. I think I like Revere Pewter too but I'm worried it's too similar to the living room color.

No matter what color you use, but leave the ceiling white.

I just stumbled on a new color and impulsively painted my den, I AM IN LOVE 
It's called "Florentine Plaster" by Benjamin Moore.
Looks a little beigey on the pics online but it's more of a greenish, greyish tone. It's gorgeous!
