Hi Ladies!
My hubs and I are newlyweds (June 2010!) and just moved to LI due to a relocation in my career. Danny (husband) found a job in the Hamptons he loves, and my job is going pretty well too!
However, we haven't taken the time or had the means to make friends on the island. We had a very strong group of friends in PA and are really lacking that now. I am sad to admit that it's starting to wear on our relationship...being just the two of us 24/7. We both crave guys/girls night!
So my question is - what are some things we can do to make some new friends? We're planning on joining a gym (World's Gym in Bay Shore, in fact. Anyone a member with some insight?) .. any other ideas? I really miss having that group of girlfriends to go to yoga or grab a cocktail after work.
Or are there get-togethers coordinated by the women of this site? Any insight is greatly appreciated, ladies!
