August mommies - how are you doing?

I can't believe I am 15w today! The belly is getting a little harder to hide now Chat Icon I also think I'm starting to get some of my energy back. I'm still tired, but I've been able to stay up past 10pm the past few nights!

Our next sono is on the 10th and we should be able to find out the gender Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm 16 weeks today and can't believe how time is flying. I have my 16-week appt. tomorrow, but no sono, just a routine appt. I'm jealous that you might find out on the 10th, I'll probably be stuck waiting until my 20 week somewhere around the last week of March.

Other than being hungry all the time and being exhausted by 7pm every night, I feel totally normal. Also been feeling little wiggles in my belly since last week which is the best feeling in the world!

I feel pretty much the same, a little sluggish, but other than that pretty normal, I have an appt the 16th but no sono, which stinks. I too have to wait till my 20 week to find out, although I've been trying to convince them to just peek in there anyway lol but to no avail. Oh well week 20 it is! Hope everyones feeling good!

Re: August mommies - how are you doing?

I am 14 weeks today, i am def showing, i look like im about 5 months pregnant. I have my energy back but am having alot of headaches and dizziness. By 8pm im ready to crash. I have been feeling the baby squirm for about a week now, can't wait to start feeling the kicks. DD has started discovering my growing belly and growing boobs and pushes on them all the time. I am currently trying to make a decision about vbac or repeat c-section....tough decision.

I'm 14.5 weeks, feeling great. Most of my energy has returned, but still exhausted by 7pm, like most of you! I can't believe how fast time is going, we are almost halfway!! We are team green, but I feel like this baby is a boy! We shall see in August :)

I think I remember you saying that you see Dr. Plancher, right? I'm just curious how you were able to find out the gender so early? We had our 12 week sono and I'm not scheduled for another one until 20 weeks. I even called the office and asked if I was having one tomorrow and she said no, just a reg appt. Was there another reason you had a sono between 12 and 20 weeks?

I am about 16 weeks ... I have more energy these days, which rocks. At least I don't want to cry when my alarm goes off. Well, maybe a little! Nipple pain can still be intense. THAT makes me want to cry!! Not as nauseous all the time, but my nausea does get triggered at the thought of most foods. My hypoglycemia has seemingly disappeared. Yay!! I'm down in weight on the scale, but I feel HUGE today and had to add a maternity pant extender to my maternity pants! I can't wait to look more pregnant than fat!! And I'm starting to walk around and get up from chairs more like a preggo! That pretty much sums it up! Chat Icon

Yes. At my 12 week, the sono tech asked if I was going to find out the gender. I said yes, definitely. I told her that my DH had two older boys and we have one boy together and that all I wanted was a healthy, happy baby, but DH would love a girl. She said that she doesn't usually do it... you usually only see the doctor and have blood drawn, but that when I make my next appointment, to tell the front desk that the tech said she would do a gender check and to put me in her book. The front desk scheduled me without question, so I assumed it wasn't that rare of a thing...

If you want, you can say a friend of yours had a gender check at 15/16 week appointment and you wanted to know if you could too?

Re: August mommies - how are you doing?

17 weeks now - feeling pretty good. Not as tired thankfully. Regular clothes don't fit well - had to turn to maternity clothes about 2 weeks ago. Thankfully I have a lot from my first pg - but I wasn't showing as early that time - so I had to buy some more season appropriate clothing. Had my 16 week sequential screen last week - baby didn't cooperate enough to see the gender. But the blood test results came back in the normal range. So yay! Can't wait for 3/21 for my anatomy scan!

I'll be 15w tomorrow and I feel really good! Still very tired by the early afternoon - I crash at 12:30 or 1:00 every day - but other than that, I feel more like my old self.

My stomach "popped" last week. It was the oddest thing. I woke up with a waist, and by the time I went to bed, it was gone. Chat Icon Still hasn't come back. I guess it's gone for a long time!

My 16w appointment is next Friday, but no sono. So I guess I have another 5 weeks or so till I find out the gender.

Hi! I'm a newbie to this entire website. My sister recommended it to me saying it was great for LI moms. She has three kids, so I took her word on it Chat Icon

I'm currently 23 weeks along with my first baby--a GIRL and am due on August 1st. I was excited when I found this group, but I'm hoping I didn't get here too late and it's now a closed group or anything. I hope I'm allowed to join!

Hope everyone is having a happy and healthy pregnancy so far!

Re: August mommies - how are you doing?

welcome sugarbean!

We found out we are 100% having a Chat Icon at 16w, but I'm still a tiny bit anxious to confirm tomorrow at our 20w sono. I'm also hoping to confirm that everything still looks OK. Can't wait to see the baby again and hoping for more 3D pictures. Chat Icon

I've been feeling Chat Icon move since 18w Chat Icon

Re: August mommies - how are you doing?

Now that we're one season closer to summer - I'm feeling like this pregnancy is going quickly. We found out at the 20 week sono that we're having a Chat Icon. I had to go back yesterday (22 weeks) for a follow-up sono so they could get all the shots necessary. I asked the tech to confirm it was a boy - and sure enough - in all his glory - he's a boy for sure!

I'm feeling pretty good all in all. Just normal pregnancy complaints. My friend gave me bags & bags of boy clothes - so I sorted them and washed everything there was for the first 6 months. I feel like I need to do everything now before I start feeling VERY pregnant in the summer heat.

aimee - I'm worried about the summer heat too! Both of my kids were June, so I never got to it.

I'm feeling pretty good. I'm still running slowly - I think I'll stop at 26 weeks. Since it's my 3rd, I'm showing big time and it's throwing off my equilibrium and I'm getting lower back aches.

I'm always hungry, but if I eat too much, I'm stuffed and feel like I need to puke.
