Newborn Photographer Recommendations Needed
Hi All- My friend is due in September but she is looking for a good photographer at a decent price to take newborn photos. Do you have any recommendations? And also what would you say is the going rate for these adorable newborn pix to be taken?

I love Amy Joycelyn photography. She is amazing with kids/ babies and really captures each child's individuality. Her prices are reasonable and on her page. There are some pics in my album.

Each and every photographer on here is excellent ! They all do amazing work !
It all depends on what you like and also remember that some requires print minimum when booking and some doesn't.

I would recommend Anne Hack Photography-she is great and really reasonable-she is on
Facebook She is photographing DD's birthday party!
I also use AvaJack Photography (3 months and she is shooting my DD's 1 year) and she is amazing. So is Michelle McFadden Photography and Forever Fireflies. I also love Lexi Bella but I am not sure what their pricing is like.

I have been using Liz recently and I think she's great! I used her for family photos, boudoir photos and will be using her next weekend for DS's 1 year/cake smash. She also has packages that will include maternity and newborn pictures.

another vote for shira z....she did my newborn, i just booked her for one year old and i saw her take pics of a friend's one year old pics and they were great. we are constantly getting compliments on our newborn pics from 7 months ago!

I agree! Lori from AvaJack is amazing and so fun to work it, she did my maternity photos, 3 month, 6 month, Xmas, Smash the Cake and 1st Bday photos for Gavin.
I recently had Amy from Amy Jocelyn Photography take newborn photos of Aaron and of course she captured my G Man too. She did an amazing job, I am so in love with the photos of my 2 boys and I booked her again in April. She was great to work with and my boys loved her! G still talks about the lady who takes photos of him eating chocolate, LOL!
I love Michelle McFadden's work and I want to book Shiraz Photography and Forever Fireflies in the future too.
They all have different styles and approaches.
I also have my students, well they are not students anymore, they graduated like 6 yrs ago, but they will always be my students, who take amazing photos. They shot G's 2nd bday party at Bounce and Play and got amazing shots that we will treasure forever! They are shooting his 3rd bday party too and I love them (they are a college sweethearts who were my students and are now engaged , so its a treat for both of us.)
