are playgrounds by you still covered in snow?
I took DD to a local playground this morning that we frequent in nice weather. Hadn't been there since about November and was surprised to see that we couldnt play because the area with all the equipment was still snow covered. All the paths and the parking lot were snow free. I mean, I know that alot of snow has not melted yet but I just assumed the playground would be good. I am surprised the town didnt do something about it because it is a very heavily used playground in the center of town. I am sure it will melt in the next few days so we'll try again but we were disappointed this morning.
Just wondering if other playgrounds around are the same way.

I think they haven't done anything yet because no one expects it to be this nice in February... I haven't even checked the playgrounds by us!

The playgrounds I've seen are all snow covered. I don't think it's a priority to use funds to shovel them out when normally it's 20 degrees in Feb.

I took the kids to the park Friday, there was no snow on any of the eqipment or the surface surrounding the playground, but there was snow on the grass.

In Brooklyn, we are there now, its full of kids and just a few patches of snow/slush/yuck.
But honestly this playground is a short cut to the subway entrance, so I'm guessing a lot of the snow got trampled to melting point.

I tired THREE different playgrounds yesterday, since it wasnt too cold, and all of they were still filled with snow
