Since we rent and don't have "house" types of bills, we only have our cc's and phones so we each pay our own separately. Rent is split down the middle and given to my MIL

DH - he is much, MUCH better at budgeting & doing the bills, so I gladly handed everything over to him when we got married!

DH takes care of the bills except my car payment, my insurance and if I have any credit card bills. Everything else he takes care of

I did for years,DH never even knew how much money was in our accounts but last year we decided to split them up & we use seperate accounts to pay them.
I like it a lot better this way.

I do, DH couldn't tell you how much the mortage was.
I have everything set up online, it makes it so much easier.

I do but I make sure that DH has the authorization on the accounts to do everything (we put certain bills in each of our names- the cable/internet/phone in his and the electric/gas in my name- the lease is in both our names) just in case I get sick or are in the hospital or whatever.
We just went thru this when I was in the hospital a few weeks ago. Of course I was in at the end of the month so he needed to write some checks. He walked into the hospital room one day and said "Umm, i tried to pay the bills... I forgot how to write a check so I messed one up so you'll have to void it."

DH... he makes the vast majority of the money. I pay my student loans and the newspaper and occasionally a smaller bill. But he does the rest!!
