March/April/May Mommies - Updates

We just took Albert for his 9 month update on Sat. I can't belive my little guy is 9 months already Chat Icon

He was in the 75th percentile weight and height and 95th+ percentile head.

Weight - 21lbs 12 ozs
Height - 29 inches
Head - 19 inches Chat Icon (he has a big head)

He doesn't want much of his baby food anymore...we pretty much feed him mostly table foods now. The Ped gave us the go ahead on everything except peanuts and honey. He's a ball of activity and tries to get into everything....especially everything he's not allowed to get into. Chat Icon

At 8 months DD was 17 lbs and 28 inches long.

DD's 9month stats:

Height 29.75inches- 95th+ percentile
Weight: 18.5lbs- 50th percentile
Head: I don't remember the # but 50th percentile

Eats mostly table food, says Dada, Book & Dog. Crawls as fast as lightening and is cruising everywhere. Took 2steps yesterday!!!

ETA: SHe has been clapping, waving, giving high 5 since THanksgiving! She understands no, but thinks its funny because she knows she's into something she shouldn't be. Her and the dog play all day and it's absolutely adorable. Poor dog can't have his toys out while she is awake because she puts themin her mouth. I had to move his dog bowls into the bathroom because that was the only place she really never went butnow she follows him in there so I'm screwed. She is getting her top 2 teeth and an incisor right now and the other incisor is close behind. I forgot to say that she say's "Uh Oh" too. She will crawl to her elmo doll when she watches his dvd. It's so cute!

This age is so fun. I have been saying that each month but it really takes the cake. I want to stop time but I am so excited for whats next!

Re: March/April/May Mommies - Updates

The boys are going to be 8mo tomorrow! I still can't believe how quickly they are growing.

No info on height/ weight until next month.

Hunter has 2 teeth; Georgie, none.
They are both crawling like crazy and are pulling up on EVERYTHING! They are both eating about 30 oz of formula a day plus fruit for breakfast, yogurt for lunch and veddies w/ pasta for dinner. I'm trying to give them more table foods. They still aren't talking but hopefully that is coming soon. They are wearing size 9mo shirts and 6 month pants (but the pants still fall down LOL). They both sleep 12 hours a night and take 2-3 cat naps a day. We did a lot of babyproofing but still need to do a little more. I love their personalities and watching them interact together is the cutest thing. We just took the bumpers out of their ctribs and now they can see each other and "talk." Chat Icon Chat Icon

DD is 9.5 months. At her 9 month visit she was 25 lbs!! Chat Icon Chat Icon I can't remember her axact height..maybe 28-29 inches. Either way- she's off the charts in weight and like 97% for height. I have no idea how big her head is, but it's BIG. Chat Icon

She's walking (for the most part), except when she realizes it's faster to crawl. She says: dad, Hiiiii, ciao-ciao & Bella (our dog- but it sounds like either behhh or behhhwehhh). She waves, claps, does itsy bitsy spider, gives kisses & high fives. If you ask her for some of whatever she has- she gives it to you. She's on mostly table foods- except for cereal & fruit once in a while for breakfast. She still has her milk/soy protein allergy. Chat Icon

Re: March/April/May Mommies - Updates

DS 9m stats where 32", 22.4lbs
He's our little giant. His height is over 100% and weight is around 80%. His head is only 50% so he really looks like a little man with those proportions.

DS eats everything, but definitly has favorite foods, yaya (yogurt) and bamahmah and apah (apple) he's not really saying words, but he's trying to repeat us I think. So I'm not counting those yet. He does do a "ma" and "da" the same way ... and "baba" could mean anything from book, to bottle, to ball, to binkie

He's had a babbling explosion recently, before that he never said anything except growling, screaming and raspberries. So I'm really excited. He's figure out how to clap, throw and kick a ball. His favorite things are books, balls, and any container with a cap or top. And be bops his bum to music when he hears it Chat Icon its the cutest thing in the world.

DS is 8.5 months!

At 7 months, he was 19.5 and 28.5 inches so im assuming he is about 20.5 and 30ish inches. We go back to the ped in 2 weeks for his 9 month!

He is awesome, crawling, pulling up and has become very independant with play. he says "baba, mama, dada, whoa, uhhuhh" Chat Icon

he is eating 3 meals (all baby food) and 24-30 oz per day. We are having some trouble with solids and gag reflex but im hoping that will get better with age Chat Icon Chat Icon

he is just getting into all 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers.

he LOVES yo gabba gabba, its an unreal obsession hahaha.

he refers to me as mama and DH is dada, that just started recently.

he is sleeping through the night 730-630 Chat Icon

He's cruising everywhere and loves to cruise the couch and dive head first into the throw pillows -he's such a boy!Chat Icon loves anything to do with balls, loves rolling them on the floor, putting them on slides, etc. can't get enough of books, wants you to read them over and over again. if he sees himself in the mirror he kisses itChat Icon he says dada and hiii and he waves hi and gives 5 if you ask him. he thinks our dog is the coolest and funniest thing ever...he tries to talk to her alot

he's just my little world, can't believe he's 9 months already!

Gregory is 10 months.

Last appt he is 50th percentile across the board (w: 20lbs 5oz | h: 28")

Finishing up the last of the baby food I pureed and now into more table food. Loves to eat and will definitely eat me out of house and home as he gets older. He even tries to take his brother's food! Starting to give him more fruits and veggies in pieces. Still not comfortable with all textures...we have to fish meatball pieces out of his mouth.

Moves super fast and gets into everything. Starting to take steps if you hold his hands and moves around when holding on to things.

Stopped babbling for a while as he went from army crawl to all four and standing but now he's back to being a chatterbox. No actual words other than the mama and dada sound but if you ask him where mama is he looks to me Chat Icon and same with dada and Lucas...he looks to the correct person. Loves blowing raspberries.

Jonathan is going to be 8 months on Wednesday and at his 7 month was in the 75% percentile across the board!

He is very into saying mama..dada..baba and is waving bye bye. He is doing some backwards crawling but not front yet. He is still able to get into everything though. Even trying to pull himself up onto whatever he can reach.

He's still having 24 oz a day and 3 meals. I make most of his food, and he definietly prefers that to the jarred food.

Oh..and he has had 8 teeth since he was 7 months old. Chat Icon

They are growing up so fast..thinking about going for number 2 soon (God willing!)

At 10 months, DS was 20 lbs, 11oz and 28.25" long. About 50th % for both.

He's 10.5 months now, crawling like a MAD MAN all over. Pulls to stand on anything and anyone Chat Icon He cruises around his toys or the length of the sofa. He's figured out how to open drawers Chat Icon Chat Icon He likes opening his books, turning the pages.

Babbles, but isn't calling for either mama or dada just yet (says them, but not specifically for us). Loves LOVES playing with the dog's toys and going on her bed Chat Icon Chat Icon He also recently discovered her food and water bowl in the kitchen and finds those fascinating as well. Wonderful, lol.

He knows what "no" means and also "uh uh!" (meaning no). He will literally stop whatever he's doing and sit, turn back to look at me. Pauses for a few, then goes right back to doing what he wasn't supposed to be doing. Chat Icon He knows to stop doing it, but hasn't quite gotten the part about how he should KEEP not doing it.

He's been done with baby food (I used to make it all for him) for a few weeks now. He's on table food now plus formula and one or two nursing sessions a day. He loves pasta, broccoli, chicken, sweet potatoes. Also spanish rice (but that's few and far between).

He has 4 teeth (2 bottom, 2 top) and has another tooth just starting to poke through on the bottom.

He has his first real cold now Chat Icon So he's congested and coughing, ran a fever for two days. Giving him lots of extra TLC.

ETA: OMG I forgot... he learned how to give High 5!!! It's soooooo cute! I will tell him "high 5" and put my hand up and he pushes his hand against mine and laughs! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I started "teaching" him this just recently and this weekend he actually started giving me 5!

ive noticed that when I tell jack no, he responds differently now. he gets a sad look on his face and a kind of "huh?" look so I think he is beginning to get it.

Re: March/April/May Mommies - Updates

DS is 8 months today!

Not sure about height or weight but he has been consistently off the charts. I do think he is getting skinnier from all his activity though.

He crawls like crazy and is pulling and standing up/mounting/climbing on every thing he sees.

He "talks" a lot saying Mama, Dada (the most), Nana and AHHHH, lol.

He is pretty much on all table food and he is a little piggy in that regard.

I really cannot believe I have an eight month old, time is going by so fast it is kind of scary. I am loving every minute of his new development though, he is the happiest baby ever and a joy to be around.

It's funny, they are exactly 2 months apart in age, but exactly on par with everything they do! Obviously that's since DS was due two months after he was born, lol.

I'd say in the last month for sure, but REALLY in the last 2 or so weeks. When he does something he shouldn't do (like opening drawers), I say "no, we don't open the drawers!" and close it. He inevitably does it again, so I repeat. I will also try to divert his attention. After a week or two of consistently saying no and stopping him from doing whatever it is, he started sitting back and looking at me when I said no. So he gets it for sure, just waiting to see when he'll get that he should stop and not start up again.

This is almost exactly what I do when I say "no" I always divert and give options for what else he can do.

But now at 10m, when I say "no, we dont do .. ", I get a big loud whine and sometimes all out cry. Sometimes he'll just give me a "you suck!" look and crawl away, its hilarious.

We got a gate for the kitchen, recently we've just been using "no kitchen' and its worked but we thought he's moving fast and super curious might be time or gate.

The gate was just laying on the floor blocking the kitchen and he saw it and flat out cried. It was pretty amazing to see what he understood.

They understand more than we give them credit for. And they react in order to communicate to you, and sometimes to manipulate you.

watch out mammas!

She's is OBSESSED with our dog. She loves to play tug of war with her and steal the dog toys & share her own toys with the dog. She also LOVES to empty the food water dish onto the floor. The dog get all sad when she does this. However, she will also drop food to the dog from her highchair.
She is also starting to understand no and 'uhuh" - but she'll stop, look at me and then smile nad continue what she was doing. If I take her away from the situation- she throws her head back and cries..
She also does high fives- how freaking cute are they when they do that! Chat Icon

Re: March/April/May Mommies - Updates

Dillon turned 9 months yesterday! We don't have a 9 month aptmt but we measured him this weekend and he was about 30 inches and he was 20 lbs. at 8 months, so I'm guessing he's around 21-22 lbs. He feels soooooo heavy though.

He's doing great- started crawling at 8 months but that only lasted a couple of weeks and now all he wants to do is STAND! He pulls up on everything and is just starting to cruise around.

He's still a serious boy- only mommy and daddy can get a laugh out of him. I can't get enough of him- this is such a fun age because they are just starting to explore but at the same time he always wants to be around me. He helps me in the kitchen by taking all his frozen baby food out of the freezer door and moving it to other parts of the freezer.

He says dada but not mama. But I think I'm yaya though bcause when I left the other day DH took a video of him crawling to the door and clawing at it and crying yaya!

my boys just had their 9 month appt .
Joey weighed 18lbs 4oz
and Dylan 19lbs.
they a half an inch apart in height.

pediatrician said to wean off formula, they are drinking too much so now they get 4 bottles 6oz each.

and we got the okay to start all table foods except for chocolate and PB.

they LOVE to eat, they still eat solids, but now they have lots of snacks in between.

they have been crawling since 6 months, they both say Dada. Chat Icon
and pull themselves up to standing postition.

so pretty much they are very equal in all their milestone's.

DD will be 8 months tomorrow, no check up yet.

She was 18lb12oz and 28 inches @ 7 month checkup. She's growing out of her chubby baby fat, which we loved!! But she still has her luscious cheeks.Chat Icon

She is crawling all over and pulling up on everything. She walks really well when we hold her up.

Two teeth on bottom. Eating Mum Mums, yogurt and other food (purees) I make for her. Haven't started any table foods yet.

She says Baba and Mama and various other sounds she uses to communicate.

Can't believe she'll be walking soon like a little person, she is growing up waaay too fast for me!!!!

My DS is 10.5 months and he weighs just under 24 lbs and just under 30 inches.

He says mama, dada, baba, nana, gaga, whoa, oh, and jibberish sentences. He refers to me as mama, my DH as dada, and when he's hungry he says baba or mmmm.

He stands, crawls, cruises, and took a few steps the other day between a toy and couch.

He LOVES balls and cars. He can chase and throw a ball around the house forever and will play with cars (push them around floor) and make noises.
He will also sit for a book-puts him in a trance.

He opens every drawer and empties things out and is becoming more independent with exploring and playing. Can sit in his playroom and play for an hour. He can clap hands, imitate me, point to pictures, and puts phone to ear and pretends to talk.

Naps 2x a day 1.5-2 hrs each and sleeps 12 hrs at night

Pretty much on all table food-he loves pastas, breads, fruits, yogurts, and cheeses.

Can't believe he's going to be one in March!!

ETA: He only has two teeth
