Asking G-dparent HELP!!
Can someone help me with or know of a poem that is out there to ask G-dparents to be G-dparents? Any help would be appreciated!!! Thank you!!

Go to a Hallmark store. They have a stork line of cards all about pregnancy. Happy birthday Mommy, I'll be sitting on your lap next year, etc. And there are cards asking them to be the godparent/s.

go to www.babyonthewaycollection.com
they have very few stores that carry their cards but they are adorable. We actually just used one last night to ask my s-i-l and b-i-l. they are like $4 a pc. and so worth it...it was a huge hit!

I found this online, its kind of more religious...

in His gentle, loving care.

and help me walk with Jesus

for although I'm still brand-new,
I know I couldn't have
any better Angels on Earth than you!

It might make you nervous and scared
But until I am big and all grown up

I think it depends on the parents and I do not think that there is any specific time to ask - just when the parents are comfortable doing it

my brother asked me to be godmother when they told me they were pregant...which i plan on doing the same thing, excpet we cant think of a godmother!!

My brother asked DH and I to be godparents about a week after our nephew was born. And DH's brother asked him to be godfather a few weeks after our niece was born. It all depends on the parent though and when you feel comfortable. I will ask our LO's godparents after our baby is born as well.
