this is THE WORST attempt at drama stirring and snarkiness....EVER. It's just laughable. It's really cute when 16 year olds create an ID and try to be trolls.

Didn't work for me. I tried it once and it was a disaster. I know it works for some pple.
I fed Mason when he got up. He started STTN around 4.5 months so I never felt the need to dream feed.
I never even tried..Tommy would wake up..and he was STTN by 3 months or so..personally i feel dream feeding isn't necessary...i did the "baby sleep solution" (used to be called 12 hrs sleep by 12 weeks) or something like that...but if it works for you, go for it.

Ok...I just realized I'm having an internet argument with a person who is pretending they're someone else. And I'm embarrassed for myself. So I'm going to stop.
To the OP....I did dream feeding with Lily and it worked like a charm. She would fall asleep in her swing, and at around 11, we would give her a bottle. We let her finish what she could, then we'd give her a quick diaper change (we put in in those nightgown sacks with the elastic at the bottom to make it easier) and then put her in her crib. I really believe that those extra few ounces helped her sleep through the night and she never had any issues from it.
After a few months, she started to refuse that bottle, so we eliminated it. So I see nothing cruel (or lazy) about it.

My DD is on the exact same sleep schedule as yours. The other night, she had a bottle earlier than usual, and I was up late, so I dream fed her hoping to stretch out her first sleep session. Yea, well total fail...she still woke up, and actually woke up earlier than usual.   I will not attempt it anymore...I'm also afraid that if I keep doing it, she will get used to feeding around that time, and start waking up automatically.
I'm just happy she's only waking up once a night now, so I'm not going to push my luck lol.

I dream fed and do not think it's cruel. I had my DD down to one night feeding by 1 wk old (went down at 8:30pm, dream fed at 10:30pm and 2:30am, woke at 7:30am) and by 5 wks old she was already sleeping through the 2:30 feeding and sleeping from the 10:30pm feeding to 7:30am. I was able to stop the 10:30pm dream feed by 9 wks.
DD's problem was if I let her get hungry and she got all worked up about it, she just couldnt settle down enough to go back to sleep. I used to try to get to her about 30 min before she usually started crying for a bottle. So it worked like a charm for us.

Ironically, days after posting this DD started sleeping in 10 hour stretches so I didn't need to take the "lazy" route.
Also lazy.. using your instead of you're.
ETA: Also lazy.. me not reading all of the posts in response to mikemike and realizing that other posters have called out the horrible grammar. Maybe when I go back to work in January I'll be less lazy about things like this.

We did it to eliminate the 2:30am feeding. I would feed DS while he was sleeping around 10pm (before I went to bed). That got him into a routine of sleeping through the 2:30 feeding & waking only at 4:30-5am.
We only did this for about 2 weeks. Now he goes down after his 8pm bottle (usually falls asleep around 9ish) & sleeps until 5 sometimes 6...
