Great! You're welcome. www.mlsli.com is good too but I've found that a lot of times houses are listed on there and they are already sold or in contract. So I like to go to the realtors sites directly. Also, a benefit of working with a realtor is that I get emailed the MLS listings as soon as they come out on the market.

I didn't graduate from Northport (Holy Trinity class of 1988). FH graduated from Elwood ('86) and his mom taught there for years.
Thanks for the info about the realtor sites.
FH and I want to sell the house we are currently in and buy a bigger one in the area. We are starting to look after the wedding.

Such a small world! I grew up on Hillside right by Soundview - I would love to move back there but the bigger houses are out of our price range right now

I would love to move, especially to a bigger house, but Dh isn't willing at this time and we kind of agreed on the steps we are going to take over the next few years.

i saw this house on sunday. it is very cute, but the kitchen is way small. however, it is in a great part of NPRT. the realtor said that it's the head od Century 21 that is trying to sell it and that she is "negiotiable". it really was a lovely house.

You are so lucky! I never wanted to buy the house we are in but it was such an incredible deal that we couldn't pass it up. I wanted to flip it and go find a bigger house, Dh wanted to expand. So, we compromised and are saving for the next few years for a down payment so we can keep both houses.
