Thomas William Has Arrived
My little man arrived on Friday, 10/1 at 10:55am through an emergency c-section. Everything started just as I was hoping, progressing quite quickly from 3:30am - 7:30am at home until I couldn't take the pain anymore and had to go in to L&D. Well... things were looking good and like he would've arrived around noon following the epidural but then, my poor Thomas' heart rate dropped extremely quickly and to only 60bpm when he should've been at 120. My OB was willing to give it only 30 seconds to see if anything changed with having me switch positions; but unfortunately it did not. They took me in to the OR so fast and because it all happened so fast, I couldn't even stay awake for the surgery. They ended up having to put me to sleep b/c there wasn't even enough time for the spinal to take effect. This wasn't exactly the way I wished to give birth, but my Thomas William is amazing and more than worth all the craziness.
I can't stop staring at him and kissing him; its AMAZING!!!

Happy to hear you and Thomas are doing well. That must have been so scary to hear his heart rate dropped so dramatically so quickly!
Enjoy every second of him. These little babies are so amazing!!!!! Congratulations!
