just got back from the dentist
And I have a bad infection in my mouth and have to taje antibiotics 4 times a day for the next 5 days!!!! Please tell me this won't be bad for ttc?
I am also nervouse cuz the next appt to do all the work is the 14th when af is due and if I am pg idk what's going to go on wit the work that needs to be done! Ughhhh fml!!!

I am having this dilemma right now. Dentist told me no non-emergency dental work in the 1st or 2nd trimester.

I'm a dentist - sounds like you were given clindamycin 300mg. Unfortunately, this is not a 'safe' antibiotic. General rue is no non-emergency treatment in the first tri, but in our office we have no problems treating at any point (no evidence otherwise). Infections are not safe either. Sorry, I know it s-ucks!

Thanks for your answer - I was given amoxicylin (sp?). Can you clarify on safe - meaning not safe for a baby or sperm lol Posted by LittleGittle
