Do you count spotting as CD1?
Not sure what to count as CD1 for last month!

usually its first full flow day (when you need a pad)

no because i temps and spotting does not cause a drop in temps for me, o nly actual AF does

No. Day 1 is when you have full, red flow. I spot for days on end so I like to consider myself a spotting expert.

everyone always says CD1 is first day of full flo, but last month I spotted for 3 or 4 days enough to use a light tampon, and I counted the first day of that as CD1. Fast forward to when I was supposed to O, I was 3 or 4 days late.... so now I am thinking that those days were actually not AF, and the 4th day when I got cramps again and it got a bit heavier was CD1. Its all SO confusing!! I dont temp, so I dont know for sure, but its so frustrating. I do always O around CD20 so when I was late this month, it made me believe I calculated CD1 wrong. Plus if I counted those first days as AF, my period this month would be 8 days, which NEVER happens for me, its always 4 days.
eta - I counted the first day of spotting as CD1 too bc it was bright red, not like typical brownish spotting. So I thought for sure it was AF.
