First steps then nothing??

My DD took her first steps couple days after her first birthday. That night she took a good 3 sets of 3-5 steps each. Since then she has taken none! We hold her hand to walk, we make her stand on her own and "bribe" ( ) her with goodies so she can walk to us but no luck what-so-ever!
She stands up on her own, pushes her toys/chairs/laundry basket/anything she can all over the house. She will be standing and looking like she is going to take a couple of steps then plops down and speed crawls to us.
Is this the norm? My DD is 12.5 months old now.

DS supposedly took his first steps at around 13m. I kept waiting but nothing. Then 2 weeks later, he started walking! Now at almost 14m, he is running!
