What's good for a Toothache?
any idea on what works for a toothache? Advil didn't do much for me...

DH had terrible tooth pain and his dentist said if you don't have painkillers, take two advil (ibuprofen) and two tylenol (acetaminophen) at the same time
HTH! Tooth pain is the worst

Vicodin.  Lots of it
If that isn't possible, lots of advil, an ice pack and not moving your mouth. Maybe some alcohol thrown in for good measure.
However, I had a fractured tooth and none of that helped, it needed to be pulled. Fractured teeth are the worst  .

Agreed. My MIL went through something similar while at my home one weekend and my BIL, an MD, advised her to do the same.

Alleve and an ice pack. If you get migraines and have a presciption strength pill for it, that works too.Feel better!

Anbesol or clove oil applied directly to the tooth.
Whiskey will also have the same effect.

rinse your mouth with salt water ,and apply a warm cloth on your cheek . It always worked for me . feel better .
