Cancelling our trip to italy!
We were booked to go to Italy in late September.. but due to our little surprise bean we just had to cancel. I am pretty sure I am going to lose the money on the airline tickets  oh well. I did purchase travel insurance so maybe I wont!
We are going to Montreal in June and now are going to plan a nice road trip/ long weekend in August for a babymoon 
Any suggestions?

You could always go on a cruise to the bahamas in July with another fab couple!

Sorry to hear about your trip.
My family goes to Cape Cod every August (unfortunately this year we'll be missing it) Just so you know, the first weekend in August there's pop's by the sea (the orchestra) which is sooooo much fun, they have a guest conductor and sing-along. Only problem is its really hard to get reservations.

Haha I wish. We are looking for more of a weekend thing. We r going to have to save vacation time and money anyhow. Plus john cant get vacation in July.. its nearly impossible for him

I would call the airline and see if they can refund or at least give you a credit for the future!

My husband and I did a weekend in newport RI last year and stayed at the Adele Turner inn:) it was great!

DH take a local summer trip every year. We've done Newport, Bolton Landing (on Lake George), Maine, Boston.
This year, I'd like to go to Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard as a baby moon.

Love lake george! I vacationed there every 4th of july weekend for 10 years growing up. DH and I are actually staying there for a night on our way to Montreal this June. Cant wait!
