Mucinex ?

This month will be my 3rd month ttc. I am considering using mucinex this time. I have never taken this before. What type do you purchase for TTC? Does it matter? I was looking at it in the store a few weeks ago, and felt like there were a few different types to buy

thanks!

Re: Mucinex ?

I have never used it but I believe you need the regular/plain mucinex. Not the DM type

Re: Mucinex ?

Just the plain Mucinex. It should say "expectorant" on the label.

Wait, I thought that Expectorant was the kind we were supposed to buy??

eta: Gotta love Google. The active ingredient in expectorants loosen and thin mucus (and ewcm). It's DECONGESTANT that dries you out.

That's right. The active ingredient is Guaifenesin. That is what we want.
