basement entrance?

Does anyone have any pics or know were i can find any pics of outside basement entries? We have a split home and got an estimate to put an outside door in the basement/den but I wish i could see some pics to get a better idea of what it would look like. Its not fully underground so it wont be a full staircase, but i just cant picture how it will look. tia!!

It's really not the best picture and it was what the entrance looked like BEFORE we scraped the old paint off and re-painted it, but you get the idea. To the left where that white concrete wall is with the white railing on top and the cement has splashes of green in it is the basement entrance. Behind that wall is a flight of steps that lead down to a door that brings you right into the basement. However, I have a wide line cape so I don't know how this will really be in comparison to your split.

Hi Yes we added a basement entrance. We only hired to have the hole dug out and the walls poured, but DH and FIL did the rest, cutting opening in foundation, stairs, drain, door etc.... so I cant be much help as far as cost for this but here are some pictures of what it looks like now

we still need to add a railing and banister to the steps and clean them up and add a walkway . Also we are doing a complete basement remodel so there are lots of details to still complete
