we have been TTC for almost 18 mos and each month BFN, so when DH came home and tells me that his friends wife is prego. I had the sickest worst feeling of jealousy. and thoughts that she has 3 why cant I just have one. Thats when DH tells me they lost it. G~d that just made me feel even worse for thinking it.
I had to vent cause its had me in a bad mood all day. Then DH brought me flowers "just because" which I cant remember the last time he did that.
So ashamed

I agree. Many people go through the same thing. It is only natural. Don't beat yourself up over it.

It's not your"bad thoughts" that caused a mc. Don't worry, it's totally normal to feel jealous when people around us are getting pg and we're still waiting.

Very normal!
When I found out 2 co-workers were pregnant my initial thought was... greaaaaaaat  ...... but of course I am happy for them!
We want something that someone else has! It's only natural to feel jealous of people who are pregnant. We have been RAISED to feel this way....... Just think back to kindergarten even.... You're at a friend's birthday party and they get a new toy that YOU really want and have been begging your mom for! Are you happy for them? No! You want the darn toy!
And yea you can say kindergartners are immature and irrational, but trust me TTC can make us plenty irrational  
Like I said though........ totally normal!!

Its such a hard part of this whole thing. I hate feeling jealous and not being able to be as happy for people as I wouls like to be. Don't be ashamed at all.
People around me at work every day just keep popping up pregnant and its not easy to deal with.

honestly we all can this whole process is very stressful- I know at least weekly I seem to hear about a friend of a friend or read on here about someone who wasnt trying or didnt want a baby- and its upsetting to all of us and sometimes we get jealous- totally normal
very sad that she lost the baby- very tragic

Don't be ashamed.. If anything you're more honest than some people will admit to being.
This is a very hard journey for some of us and I think there are plenty of people who can relate exactly to how you're feeling, I know I can.
You know you didn't wish anything bad on this couple, it just happened.
Glad your dh picked up on your unhappiness, give him an extra hug for that :)

I know how you feel..I feel like everyday I hear about someone else I know that is pregnant..It is frustrated when it is so easy for some to get pregnant!

I know exactly how you feel. Within the last 2 weeks I've found out that two people who are relatively close to me (good friends sister and SIL's best friend) are both preggo. Both already have 1 child and I couldn't help thinking "Shouldn't everyone get some before some get seconds?" I am happy for them, really I am but deep down it's hard to NOT feel the pang of jealousy.
