Any advice...

Hi, this is my first post...
DH and I have been TTC for a year now. Had a MC over the summer at 7 weeks and this is our 5th month of trying again. I've been using an OPK since and just starting charting my BBT this month. Anything else we should/could be doing?? I don't know how much more of this I can take.

Re: Any advice...

If you have been trying for a year, could you make an appt with a RE? Maybe they could help move things along. If I dont get my BFP this month, I am also going to start an RE. It will only be 8 months of TTC but since I have thyroid disease I thought seeing a RE sooner would be better.

Good Luck!!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Try another month now with the BBT.

I guess my suggested would be after another month or so, is to try to be as relaxed as possible. Try for a month or two without OPK and BBT. The more tests we do - def adds to our stress. Unfortunately, stress can interrupt TTC. So try a month of winging it.

Plus def follow Deanna's Plan. Then you really cover all your bases.

Unfortunately, I had 2 miscarriages. But both times I did get my BFP was when I followed the Deanna's PLan.

Best of luck!!!

I'm sorry you are going through this. You should go over to the TTC after MC board. I had a m/c this summer too and since then haven't been able to conceive. It's awful Chat Icon

Have you made an appt w/ an RE?

Re: Any advice...

Thanks everyone. We're trying Deanna's plan for the first time this month. It's not that much different than what we've been doing so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I already see an endocrinologist for my thyoid, would it make sense to go to a RE also? I haven't looked into any kind of fertility specialists or anything so I'm not sure.

I'm trying not to stress as much but of course its hard. Trying to have a better outlook for 2010 but I'm sure if there's another BFN it wont be as easy.
