12 week NT exam ?
I was wondering, how long does it take to get the results of the nuchal fold scan at 12 weeks? TIA

WHOA that long? :( This is going to be a loonnnngg wait! Can they spot imminent problems while doing the exam?

It takes about 2 weeks for the blood portion of the test to come back. They do a sono as part of the test also and that part they should be able to tell you on the spot. Here's the thing though....I see a perinatal specialist so they did all the tests in their office. I think most regular OB's will send you elsewhere to have the test done....and many times even if the sono is perfect the tech doing the sono wont give you the result...they usually wait for the doctor to give the results. Good luck- I'm sure everything will be great
