November Moms....how are you doing?

I was just wondering how everyone was feeling / doing? I can't believe that I'm only 19 days away and so much to do! I feel like walking is the hugest chore ever and my privates have been kicked out repeatedly! DD has dropped and I get checked tomorrow - 2 weeks ago I was 50% effaced -maybe I'll have started dialating!?

-I have my hospital bag and stuff sort of assembled.
-Need to install the car seat
-Would love to prepare and freeze some meals - however I'm the worst cook ever!
-I want to clean my apt up- guess that is the nesting thing they talk about!!
-And I was working on nursery letters for Chat Icon until DH decided to challenge her name! Chat Icon
-And I'm trying to figure out what to bring bean home in under her sleeper-thingy- I don't really have alot of newborn sizes - and the only long sleeve onesies I have are size 3mos -....ugh!!!

I hear you - the pubic pain is unreal. I dread going to sleep at night b/c I always toss and turn and it's the biggest project to roll over. And waddling is in full effect :)

LOL I also starting piling things for my bag in the nursery - next to the bag - my next step is to actually put items in the bag - I think I'm in denial - though my body is soooo ready :)

I'm also going out a week before and hope to get things done. I need to come up with some easy dinners to attempt and freeze. DH doesn't think we need to but I know what will happen! I am so ready as well - any day now it feels like! Even though it's 3 weeks away! I feel like a time-bomb!LOL

Re: November Moms....how are you doing?

17 days to go. Insomnia and nesting have set in. I dread going to bed because I know that I'm not going to sleep much at all and I keep DH up all night...he's a very light sleeper to begin with so I feel bad. Still have not packed my bag and everything still needs to be assembled! I'm so not ready!! Last week my doc said that my cervix was still closed, but it was soft (not sure how much) and the baby had not dropped yet. I go again tonight, so we shall see if there has been any more progress. I don't think so though. This baby definitely has not dropped yet! I have cramps and lots of BH throughout the day and can barely hold in my pee anymore! Oh yeah and the past 3 days I've been having hip pain...I think it's the softening of my pelvis. Fele well girls...we're almost there!!

Re: November Moms....how are you doing?

22 days left for me. I have my 37 week appt on Thursday, have another growth sono scheduled. I haven't had any internals yet, had the Strep B test last week. I don't think the baby has dropped yet. Sleeping is hard, but luckly, I am feeling okay. Had to leave work early today though because our HVAC in the building was down and it was just way too hot for me to stay.

Have a pediatrician appt today and tomorrow, hopefully will like one of them to finalize that. I still have to install the car seat, have a hospital tour next Tuesday night. Oh and I have to pack my bag still.

Re: November Moms....how are you doing?

I'm so ready to be done but still 3 weeks left. 20 days to be exact. Had contractions all night last night so thought it was happening but alas no. Still the same one cm dialated so have to hang in. Still have tons to do. Need car seat installed still. AAA was having an event this past weekend but cancelled so we have to go elsewhere and we haven't assembled any of the gadgets yet. Wasn't sure I wanted to look at pnp's and bassinets, swings, etc. again just yet. Since my house is already full of toddler toys. Still have to choose a coming home outfit. Much harder than I though to find a newborn sized outfit that I love. And need some hospital pj s for me and have to pack my bag. Did fill out my admission paperwork packet. Need to get going I guess, huh?

We had an appointment for the AAA event too. I was so upset that they cancelled, because they were the only ones I could find to do a weekend appt. And it didn't even rain! THey signed me up for Nov 8, but Chat Icon is due Nov 12!

Re: November Moms....how are you doing?

Well I have 19 days left and am super tired. I have been having contractions here and there. A few Weeks ago my bp was pretty high and they sent me to L&D to be checked. When I got there my bp wasn't high. So now my Dr is making me see him 2 times a week to just keep a eye on it. So he said to make sure my bag is packed BC depending on if its high again, the will pron induce me. But her thinks I might go b4 halloween since I have some progress going on down thereChat Icon .

As for everything else, we have the car seat installed, his room finished, clothes washed, hospital bagged packed. So I feel like we are all just waiting for him to arrive. Which I am hoping sometimes soon.

I do however wish i could sleep, but with getting up to pee of trying to get comfy. Is just seems impossible

Re: November Moms....how are you doing?

Really tired and I haven't done most of these things you guys have done.

I'm still working on DD's big girl room, once that is done, we can move on to the nursery.

Infant seat is not in yet, but we are pretty comfy putting that in and out so we'll do that in a few weeks.

Clothes are no not washed, but that's because the nursery isn't done and DDs clothes are still in what will be DS's dresser.

I haven't set up the swing, etc.

We still haven't settled on a name.

I'm still deciding on a coming home outfit for him.

My bag is not packed.

I guess the only thing I have done so far is get knocked upChat Icon

Re: November Moms....how are you doing?

14 days to go, if I make it that long! I was 50% effaced and 2 cm dilated at my last app't. I feel like this will be the longest 14 days ever. It feels like I'm walking around with this baby's head in between my legs. I've been getting some contractions each night, but this morning it started moving into my back - ouch! Can't wait to meet the little peanut though!

I think we're in decent shape though. Things are "mostly" done. Bags are mostly packed, nursery is mostly done and mentally, I'm mostly ready!Chat Icon I just really need to get the car seat installed, which is tentatively set for Thursday. I also want write up DD's schedule, feeding and other info for while I'm in the hospital. Other than that, I'm anxiously awaiting Chat Icon's arrival!

C-section scheduled for 11/6, just about 16 days away! Feeling very tired and anxious at this point. Plus, chasing a 14-month old is keeping me busy! I feel as if I still have a lot to do, but I'm not stressing about it, maybe because it's my second. It has not hit me yet and I'm so looking forward to the big day.

Re: November Moms....how are you doing?

16 days and counting. I have contractions almost daily but nothing earth shattering. DR said he will do a rough internal next week to try and get things moving.....I had asked to be induced b/c my mom is having brain surgery Nov. 25 and I wanted to be recovered and have time before she has to go. They said if I wanted to if I didn't go by Nov 2nd I can be that day. DH & I are not sure still thinking about it. For now just trying every old wives tale in the book to try to go natural. Chat Icon

Nursery is set, bag is partially packed, car seat getting done on Saturday!
