anyone just waiting for labor to start?????
lol.......i'm due on thurs 7/23
had strong braxton-hicks last week, went to ob and i was completely effaced and 1cm dilated.............this week nothing!so i wait and wait.......

Awww - just waiting HUH??? I would be climbing the walls I think (I am not known for patience!!!)
Currently I am 36 weeks, and 1 cm - going to dr's today - so we will see if there has been any progression... but I could very well be in the very same situation as you in a few weeks - who knows??
But if you wanna help move things along start walking, and having sex, and eating spicy food LOL!!!

i can do the walking......spicy food.......but no bd for me i'm too uncomfortable!lol

Aww, I am sorry. The last week is definitly the hardest. Look at it this way you have come so far and there really is an end in sight with a fantastic blessing at the end. Good luck and easy labor vibes.

ME...I am due 7.23 too. I have an appointment tomorrow so hopefully there is some progress. Last appointment I was 2cm and 80% effaced but had been that way for 2 weeks.
I had some BH yesterday but dont feel any diffrent today.
Baby is small so another weeks cooking will be fine by me...I think.

Going late stinks (I still haven't gotten over seeing my countdown up top disappear even though I haven't had  yet)

Yup! I miss seeing the countdown too!
My doctor swept the membranes yesterday and told me to try to walk around a lot so I am going to go over to the gym and get on a treadmill since it's pouring outside.

I have 17 days left. I am due 8/7. They will not let me go past my due date because of my GD. I am not finished washing the baby clothes..after that I will be happy to have my little peanut come a little early.
I went for my first internal on Friday. No dilation yet. I have been getting some cramping but that is about it.

ME!! Well kinda - not really. I have a c-section scheduled for Friday. I lost my mucus plug on Sunday and since have been having tons of contractions and cramping but I least I know Friday is the latest!!

Due Friday here. We just started on some projects on the house now that I'm on maternity leave, so I guess if I go a couple of days over, it wouldn't be the end of the world!!!!

I'm 39 weeks today and nothing is going on yet. No dilation at all and the baby is still high. I don't even think I'm feeling any BH. Hopefully something will happen soon. I'm still feeling pretty good so I can hang on another week or so, I just don't want to have to be induced.
