contractions are down to 8 minutes apart...i called the Dr just to get their specific recommendations.
they told me to sit tight until they're every 4-5 minutes or less and lasting a full minute.
they told me to increase my fluids to prepare for labor, and said I should have my little boy by the end of the week! 
I have an appt Wednesday at 5 - in the words of the nurse, "if i make it!"

yeah! this happened to me and I didn't make it. when i saw my doc that morning in the hospital I said, "So I guess I should call and cancel my appointment for this afternoon?"

Good luck!! How you described the AF like cramping and blood is exactly how my labor started and my DD was born the same day!!

still 7-8 minutes apart... still not PAINFUL though. A couple of them made my grab my tummy and inhale sharply, but nothing constantly painful.
i don't think this is real labor

it might not be tonight, but the fact that they are getting closer together is a great sign!!!

i doubt that - as the night is going on and it's not getting worse, i know more and more that this is false labor! i hope i'm one of the lucky ones that just wakes up at 4am with contractions 4 mins apart and i can skip this waiting game.
