16 weeks and bleeding TMI - UPDATE
I just went to the bathroom and when I looked there was bright red blood in the toilet. when i wiped there was bright red blood on the paper.
I had sex on sunday, but I had a bowel movement yesterday and I was constipated... maybe that's it....
I have an appointment on monday. Would you call the dr? I know I should.
Do you call the office or the emergency line?They NEVER answer the office line

Thanks for telling me to call. They told me to come at 5. By the time I got home, it was REALLY REALLY REALLY heavy.
I went. They did a sono. They heatbeat is strong.
It looks like I have slight Placenta Previa. He said the placenta should grow up and away from the cervix, but for now, no straining, no heavy lifting - take it easy....
I feel MUCH better! Thank you so much!!!

I would call the Doc ASAP even if it's nothing. If they don't answer at the office then try the emergency # listed.
Where is the blood coming from? You said you had a bowel movement so is it from your butt or vag? It may be from the sex or BM. Definitly call the Doc and go to the bathroom and keep checking

I would absolutely call the office line. If they don't pick up I would call the emergency line. Hope everything is ok!

I would def call.
You can bleed from being constipated, but you would probably notice it right after your bowel movement.
I know this may sound silly but the blood is coming from your vagina, not your butt right?

If they don't answer the office line- call the emergency. Everything could be fine, but I would be very concerned with bright red bleeding...

I would definitely call both lines, a week is too long to wait. Have you had any cramping?

It's from the Vagina....
When i was pregnant with DS I bleed heavy at 27 weeks and it turned out that I had a burst blood vessel.... It doesn't feel the same, but it's a lot of blood.
I'm on hold. If they don't pick up in a minute I'll call the emergency #.

I would call if you think it's coming from your vag. It could just be an irritation from your bowel movement though. I would wait until your next visit to the bathroom and see what the story is.
