buying maternity clothes before your showing
is this ok?
i just checked out the old navy website bc someone posted that there are great sales and they have such cute dresses but im only 13 weeks, you think its ok to buy ahead of time?

Absolutely! I bought some things before I was showing because I wanted to be prepared. Definitely take advantage of the sale!

i bought things before i started showing also. i stocked up on some sales i found and got some stuff for now cause everything is not getting a little tight and i barely have a bump. go crazy!!

Totally-- just don't be concerned if things seem too big. I had a few shirts that i almost returned and thank God I didn't-- even they don't fit me now!

I bought some things but I am on the heavier side (just elstic waist skirts). I am going on a cruise this coming week and bought some skirts. I didn't want to sepnd a lot of money on those skirts and then again in the summer when I start to get big, so I thought it was a good idea.

Definately! I did it also with sale items just so that I would be prepared for the day when I woke up & my clothes didn't fit. I can tell you too, some of the maternity stuff I even wore when I didn't really need to just to be comfortable.

I did this too. I am already wearing maternity shirts, while I could probably get away with some of my old stuff, I just feel alot better in them.. I had bought a bunch of stuff before hand just to be prepared

I think it's one of the smartest things to do! This is clothing you will only wear for 9 mnths at most so you may as well take advantages of sales!....It is funny because I remember recieveing stuff that looked so BIG to me then and now I am fitting into it...some barely  !! Enjoy shopping!

As someone who had a late miscarriage, I would say to wait until after your 12 week sono. Sorry to be a downer but I had bought stuff around 10 weeks last year and then miscarried at 11 - it was hard to have the stuff in the house afterward.
