Sick baby
my 4 month old DS has such a bad cold/cough. he coughs and will gag and sometimes spit up phlem. my DH just got over the same cold. we took him to the doctor on saturday and she said his lungs were clear. today is day 5 and he still has it. i know they said to give it a week but i just feel sooo bad. i even called again yesturday and they said if he has no fever to give it a few more days.. we have done steam showers, humidifier, saline drops but he is still so miserabe. Has anyone ever experienced this? TIA

My DS is 21 months old, and his colds have ALWAYS lasted a good two weeks.  for your little one and for mommy. It's so hard to see them sick, but the only thing that helps with the colds is what you are doing and time. Hang in there, it's the first of many colds to come....

Yep, we are there right now. DS doesn't have a cough but has a pretty bad cold for the thrid time since birth . There isn't much that you can do besides the things you mentioned. It's so sad to see them so confused when they can't breathe .

Colds usually last 7-10 days. DS got a cold when he was young, maybe 2 1/2 months. It is how they build up their immunity. Give it a few more days and he will be feeling much better. It seems so much worse when they are that little.

Yes, I just went through this with AJ and she's 4months
Its horrible..
that icky wet cough and how hard they cough to get the gunk out. They cough so hard it spits out the phlegm
I had a humidifer, saline drops, warm baths and elevated sleep positioner
She started icky on Dec 5 and finally got over it just before xmas 
Hang in there!

It took DS about 2-3 weeks for his cold to go away fully too! I did everything your doing!
