Both. Except the tylenol PM doesn't give me that awful sleep walking feeling when i wake up the way benedryl does

Just an FYI this has nothing to do with Health It has to do with wanting to be asleep faster for flying

i'd consider nyquil! my sister and i took nyquil before flying to belgium on an 8 hr direct flight--that and splitting some champagne worked wonders. lol

I've never taken Tylenol PM before but I can tell you that one day I took Benedryl before going to work because I had horrible allergies and didn't think it would make me tired...
I passed out on the train less than an hour later for my commute into the city and took a nap in my training room with my head on my desk before my training class got there.
I will say, however, that the Benedryl did make me feel like I was a bit "foggy" all day. But man, did it make me sleepy!

I should add that I am PG and these are my only 2 options Before I got PG I had all intentions of practically overdosing on this flight just to get through it

Benadryl without a doubt. I'm practically comatose whenever I take it. It will leave you pretty foggy when you wake up, however, while Tylenol PM and Nyquil won't.

I believe that they contain the same active ingredient...(Check the label)...that is what I have heard at least....

Yes. Tylenol PM is just Tylenol with Benadryl. In the same dosage, too.

Ambien XR 12.5 mg! That stuff knocks you out and you wake up the next morning with none of that tired, blah feeling. It's a prescription but I swear by it when I'm going through a period of insomnia.
When I'm not going through that insomnia period, reading in bed always puts me right to sleep.

Edit: Sorry, I just realized that you were pregnant! Congrats, and sorry for recommending the Ambien...that's not an option.
I don't really have any personal experience, because with my pregnancies I was exhausted all the time. Hang in there
